That’s right, every year Santa Claus takes a day of rest and well-deserved relaxation by practicing surfing before flying on the sleigh pulled by his reindeer, to deliver the desired gifts around the world.
As a matter of fact, every Christmas Eve, in Florida and precisely in Cocoa beach, the “ Ride of Christmas Magic ” is held, a fun event that attracts the attention of tourists and onlookers.
Hundreds of surfers from all over the world gather here for this event and, with Santa’s costume on, they show what they can do best: surfing.
It is curious to observe from afar these red-colored figures with the typical white beard riding among the most difficult waves and at the same time literally soaking their costumes, in a general cheerful environment.
After having a good time at sea, the so tanned surfers scatter around the beach to join their admirers.
Obviously the children present here are amazed and thrilled to see so many Santas all together and then take the opportunity to take nice photos and maybe even if necessary (why not), to deliver a letter with the long-awaited gift written inside.
Finally, there’s plenty of space for collective hugs and for the traditional toast of good wishes, in this festive and equally exciting atmosphere.
To conclude a very original occasion that combines love for this sport with the most important holiday of the year.
