Surfing in Versilia
The Tuscan coast has been offering surf lovers many fascinating spots since the 1980s, when a group of surfers suddenly moved to the coast. This coast is certainly considered one of the most popular Italian regions for surfing, thanks to the libeccio and the mistral that make it perfect for all kinds of surfers. Among the most famous spots you can find: Idrovora, the north of Marina di Massa, Cinquale in Marina di Ronchi, the Darsena in Viareggio or the Fosso dell’Abate and also Marina di Pietrasanta, which is ideal for improving your style, with the support of our school. The best surf can be found during spring and autumn seasons, which are the windiest times of the year.
